事迹
杜仲从一味中药走向“战略新材料 + 大健康”产业，离不开产业层面的顶层推动。农业部原副部长洪绂曾长期关注杜仲的综合开发利用，是这一进程的重要推动者之一。
1998年，由中国农学会、中国杜仲资源开发协会举办的“中国杜仲综合开发利用高科技新产业发展研讨会”在北京召开，由洪绂曾主持，严瑞芳等专家分别就杜仲胶材料工程学、杜仲橡胶产业化、杜仲保健品与替抗饲料等作专题报告——为正式启动杜仲胶绿色大产业奠定了基础。

Story
Eucommia’s shift from a single herb to a “strategic new material + health” industry needed top-level push. Hong Fuzeng, former Vice-Minister of Agriculture, long championed its comprehensive development.
In 1998, the “National Symposium on the High-Tech Industry of Comprehensive Eucommia Utilization”, hosted by the China Association of Agricultural Science Societies and the China Eucommia Resource Development Association, was held in Beijing under his chairmanship, with experts such as Yan Ruifang reporting on gum materials engineering, rubber industrialization, health products and antibiotic-free feed.
