我国经济林学科参与创办者之一，杜红岩的恩师；较早开展杜仲果实与树皮含胶变异研究。
事迹
谢碧霞是我国经济林学科的参与创办者之一，1962年毕业于中南林学院并留校任教，1994年获批为博士生导师，长期深耕经济林育种、高效栽培与综合利用。
在杜仲领域，她较早开展“不同产地杜仲果实与树皮含胶特性变异”等系统研究，并与学生杜红岩等合作发表成果；更以师者之力培养出杜红岩等一批日后支撑中国杜仲产业的科研中坚。一门师承、三代传灯——中国杜仲科研的谱系里，有她奠基的一笔。

A co-founder of China’s non-timber forestry discipline; mentor of Du Hongyan.
Story
Xie Bixia helped found China’s non-timber forestry discipline; she graduated from Central South Forestry College in 1962, stayed to teach, and became a doctoral supervisor in 1994, devoting decades to economic-forest breeding, cultivation and utilization.
On Eucommia, she carried out early systematic work on gum-content variation across origins in fruit and bark, publishing with students including Du Hongyan; more importantly, she mentored a generation — Du Hongyan among them — who would go on to anchor China’s Eucommia industry. One lineage, three generations of light passed on.
