Story

Wei Xu is a professor at Wangjing Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, long engaged in clinical research on TCM orthopedics. In 2021, he successively participated in the expert review meeting for the clinical study of Quan Duzhong Capsules for primary osteoporosis (kidney-yang-deficiency type) and the 'Kechuang China' feasibility seminar hosted by the China Association of Chinese Medicine, ensuring the quality of trial design and evidence-based evaluation.

Wangjing Hospital subsequently registered this randomized, parallel-controlled study with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR2100050932) as the leading site, conducting efficacy and safety evaluation of Quan Duzhong Capsules for primary osteoporosis and advancing the accumulation of modern clinical evidence for Eucommia's 'sinew-and-bone-strengthening' efficacy.
